With multiple years of yoga and mindfulness experience, and backgrounds in the corporate sector, founders Clare & Malwina share a passion and great understanding of what is needed to integrate these practices in the workplace environment.
Clare has been practicing Yoga for over 14 years and trained as a teacher after moving to London from Australia. Similar to many newcomers to Yoga, Clare came for the physical aspect but was immediately hooked by yoga’s deep spiritual connections and mindfulness techniques. Now yoga serves very much as a form of moving meditation in her life, helping to balance out her work in the fast-paced Finance sector. Clare started teaching corporate classes at her previous employer and loved introducing the concept to her workplace so much she went onto found Minds over Matter with Malwina.
Malwina fell in love with yoga from a young age in her home country Poland and this naturally fuelled teaching aspirations later on. While she specialises in dynamic Vinyasa practice, she also incorporates slower restorative techniques to retain a yin/yang balance. Malwina is particularly interested in ways of incorporating meditation into everyday life, especially in high stress environments such as the workplace. Since moving to London in 2012, Malwina worked in an industry leading tech company, in business development.
